Lintels

Our lintels and angles are available in primed or galvanized steel.

We supply high quality galvanised Galintel^® lintels, angles, t-bars and flats.
All are thoroughly tested for strength, structural adequacy and to ensure compliance with all relevant Australian Building Codes.

We also supply a large range of primed lintels and T-beams, which are coated in red oxide or Hot Dip Galvanising for lasting protection. These are manufactured to Australian Standards and are available in may sizes.

Galvanised lintels

Purpose designed Galintel^® hot dip galvanised steel lintels come in five types, enabling you to specify for specific needs without compromise, knowing you'll get the full performance you require.

All are fully field tested and give full load-bearing capacity in a 40% lighter bar. The light weight makes them easier to store, transport and work with. Their generous base width ensures solid support for brickwork of all types.
Being hot dipped galvanised, Galintel^® steel lintels are fully protected on all surfaces, including the ends. They comply with an R3 durability rating, being galvanised with a zinc coating of 600g/m2. (R2 lintels, with just 300g/m2, obviously offer far less protection).

Add superior structural rigidity, the elimination of first course mitreing, ease of use, reduced construction time and the virtual elimination of priming and painting and it's easy to see why you should insist on Galintel^® galvanised steel lintels by name.

Galintel^® solid base angle 

Intended for general domestic and light commercial construction, these assume the use of conventional framing materials and standard building practices. They meet construction requirements for a wide variety of buildings, from private homes to multi-storey projects.

Galintel^® Rendabar^® angle

Designed for supporting brickwork over windows and doors where a rendered finish is required. The width of the platform leg of each Rendabar^® provides a wide support base for brickwork and a generous keying area for cement rendering.

Galintel^® multi-rib 'T' Bar^™ 

Galintel^® 'T' Bar^™ lintels are the result of comprehensive research and development, offering superior structural rigidity and corrosion resistance while offering a high strength-to-weight ratio.

Being total load bearing lintels, they are designed to support 230mm brickwork over a clear opening.

Galintel^® multi-rib flat 

These are recommended for use in internal walls where the height of supporting brickwork exceeds half the span of the opening.

They are designed to be installed with ribs uppermost.

Galintel^® multi-rib angles

These lintels have a multi-ribbed profile are lighter and stronger than lintels with a solid base profile.

Primed and Hot Dip Galvanised lintels

We stock and manufacture a large range of primed and Hot Dip Galvanised lintels for standard and modular brickwork. All comply to Australian standards.

Hot Dip Galvanised T-Beams

We stock a range of Galvanised T-Beams. Base sizes are 200mm, 250mm and 300mm. Standard lengths are available, otherwise we can manufacture to any size requirement, pending Engineer's specifications.
